Background:
Andy was born and raised in Valdosta. He graduated from Valdosta High School and Valdosta State University where he was admitted into the Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society for academic excellence, Kappa Theta Epsilon Honor Society for academic excellence, appointed as Ambassador by Student Alumni Association and is currently a member of the VSU Alumni Board of Directors. Andy also worked as an Environmental Law Compliance Specialist with the Department of Defense at Moody Air Force Base. Andy is married to Amanda, fellow VSU Alum, who works as a Physician Assistant at Parrott Medical Clinic. They have one son, Henry.
