She is originally from Shellman, Georgia. She attended
Randolph Southern School were she participated in
basketball, softball, track and one act play. She
graduated in 1993 and attended Mercer University in
Macon, Georgia where she was a member of the cross
country team and Alpha Delta Pi. She graduated from
Mercer in 1997, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in political science. Following graduation,
attended Walter F. George School of Law in Macon,
Georgia. She served as the president and treasurer
of the Business, Bankruptcy and Commercial Law
Society while at law school. Julie has been
associated with Moore, Clarke, DuVall & Rodgers,
P.C. since graduation, practicing in Insurance
Defense and Workers' Compensation. Julie currently
resides in Albany, Georgia with her husband, Chris,
and their children, Bailey, Holden, and Maggie.
