When Albany, Georgia, and neighboring communities were devastated by flood waters, Ms. Clarke spearheaded an impromptu legal seminar specializing in issues affecting the flood victims. With the help of ICLE, Georgia Legal Services, and other state agencies, Ms. Clarke and several other attorneys volunteered their time and within a matter of days had compiled papers and presentations that have now been followed by at least one other state victimized by flood waters.

Later, when Katrina flood victims needed assistance, Ms. Clarke spearheaded a state wide impromptu seminar to train Georgia's lawyers again.
