Background:
Born in South Florida and has lived throughout the Southeast.  Matt joined Moore, Clarke, DuVall & Rodgers, P.C. in the Civil Litigation Department after graduation from law school.  Matt lives in Leesburg with his wife, Rachel.

Education:
Matt earned his B.S. in Environmental Health Science from the University of Georgia.  While attending the University of Georgia, he received the Hope Scholarship.  After graduation, he moved to Chattanooga and earned a Masters degree in Environmental Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  During graduate school, Matt received a full fee and tuition scholarship while working as a research assistant and was also named the Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year by the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences. Matt received his J.D. from Mercer University.

Professional Affiliations/Activities:
Member Dougherty Circuit Bar Association; State Bar of Georgia (member, Tort and Insurance Practice, Labor and Employment Law, and Environmental Law sections); Hobbies and Interests include a wide variety of outdoor activities such as SCUBA diving, hiking, fishing, hunting, and photography.
